Mimi Little - Art Gallery - Florida Studio Rental
Mimi Little lives by the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and at Ft. Myers Beach on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Working in acrylics and collage she has produced a series of paintings influenced by her life and travels. Her past series of paintings have included themes on Nantucket, Haiti, tobacco barns, and the rivers and bays that surround her everyday life. Her latest series was influenced by the clear light and color of Southwest Florida. Mimi's paintings are abstract in nature, landscapes and figures, with vivid colors and vigorous brush strokes.
Mimi has had solo ehibits in Nantucket, MA, Southern Maryland, Virginia, and has juried into numerous group shows. She is affiliated with the Art Leagues of Alexandria, VA, and Bonita Springs, FL. Outside of the art world she has been active on the boards of The American Chestnut Land Trust in Calvert County, MD, the Calvert County Environmental Commission and Aid to Artisans based in Hartford, CT.
